Psycho Dehlia returned to Colchester, on a wet Friday night for a rare hometown gig.
It’s always a pleasure to perform at The Bull. It brings back many happy memories of summer nights at the Soundhouse playing prog rock.
After a slow start the Psychos got into their stride and the dance floor began to fill. The second set saw The Bull rocking.
It was a family affair for Floyd with his brother, sister and Britain’s Next Top Model, Eleanor turning up - thank you all for coming.
Special thanks to Francesca the assistant-manager for making us feel so welcome and Arthur for booking us.
It’s also always great to see our friends, and after the last couple of dreadful months we value your company even more. We know you have plenty of other things you could be doing on a Friday night but you chose to be with us, thank you - John, Bill, Colin, Linda, Bob, Eleanor, Dana, Brandon, Amanda, Stewart, Scott, Benny and of course, the amazing Psycho Chicks.
So it was a great evening apart from the end, when Floyd’s limo didn’t turn up and he had to walk home in the rain. He got so wet his dancing shoes shrunk and had to be cut off - rock n roll - heads will roll.
Next stop the Railway in Brightlingsea on the 10th of August.
